How It All Started
Jay Kelly
Jay is a second-generation home builder. His father, Stephen Kelly, has been a home builder in the area since the 1960s. He grew up around the business, working for his father, and learned the business with a hands-on approach. He obtained his General Contracting license and started his own business in 1989. He started off building custom speculative homes and has transitioned into a Design/Build contractor for clients turning their dreams into a reality. Jay has built over 300 homes in Durham, Orange, Person, Chatham, Alamance, and Granville Counties.
Jordan Kelly
Jordan is a third-generation home builder. He spent the summers in high school and college working for his father, Jay. Jordan graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in Construction Management in 2011. He began working full time for his father in 2015 and obtained his Building Contractor’s License in 2019.

At times it can seem overwhelming for customers when thinking about building their dream home. We will help you through the process and be there with you every step of the way. Our team of project managers and highly skilled contractors are trained and committed to creating and building your dream home so it will be a home you and your family will be proud of for generations to come.
As many of our customers find out once they hire us, we not only build their homes, we build long lasting relationships and have been doing so for over 40 years.
